Summary

3rd and last of postponing 3 years due to pandemic.
However I was planning to go also Lembeh 3 years ago, I decided to exclude Lembeh this time.
Lembeh is kind of pricey and might be many enthusiasts.
So diving in Bunaken 5 days and stay Manado 1 day.

Itinerary

There was a flight between Davao, Philippines and Manad 3 years ago.
This flight didn't resume, so I chose the flight to Manado via Singapore.

To
Bunaken

I departed the Kansai Airport at midnight, arrived in Manado killing time in the Changi Airpor.
Silk Air changed to Scoot. I have requested pick up servive: car from airport boat to the island.

Panorama
Resort

There are several resorts conbined with dive centers except a few luxury resorts.
They provide 3 meals a day. I chose the Panorama Resort with inquiry by email.
Wooden Bungalow, fan and cold shower.

Bird

Rooster crows every mornnig, I heard chirping sounds like "fyu fyu" sometimes.
Then I checked what creature was there, they had a red bird.

We found a dolphin watching boat and some dolphins near the dive site of Ron's on 4th day.
Dolphins may often be seen there.

Gorgeous big school of Pyramid Butterflyfish same as last time 8 years ago.
In addition, So many tertles there. We have seen everywhere in this time, over 20 tertles a dive.
We saw also swimming and inhaling tertles from the boat.
There were many small tertles, so tertles might be cared by the government.

To Manado

There were tow way moving to Manado: charter boat and taxi or public boat bound for the Manado Port.
I chose the public boat, and they took me to the public boat for free.

Manado

I am planning to drop in Lembeh when I booked the air ticket, one day left to add 2 days for diving.
I stayed in Manado city intead of visiting tourist spot around Manado.
I found a stunning church near the hotel.
Though it was closed, I asked a staff to take photos.

Back home

I aske a hotel staff to call a Blue Bird Taxi, then to the Manado Airport.
I prefered killing time in the airport to entering Singapore.
Gotting on the plane in midnight and arriving the Kansai Airport next morning.
