| Summary |
I was forced to cancel the plan of visiting W. A. that I had already booked
3 years before due to the Pandemic. Diving at the Navy Pier and Ningaloo Reef and dropping Monkey Mia and Shark Bay, and then visiting Perth. At last, I was able to be West Australiafor the first time in three years. I moitted to drop the Monky Mia and Shark Bay in this time, since it was hard for me to drop there. The plan was just diving in Exmouth and going around Perth. |

| Itinerary | Chinese airlines made lower the plrice before the Pandemic. The international air ticket price remained high as Chinese airlines have not operated international flght. I booked the Malaysia Airlines as international flights from Kansai to Perth. And Quantas as domestic flights between Perth and Learmoth. Diving two days in Exmouth, exploreing around Perth three days. |

| To Perth |
I left home for the Kansai Airport in the early morning, then transfered
at the Kuala Lunpur Airort. I arrived in the Perth Airport late at night. Killing time to the domestic departure for about 4 hours. However I looked it up there is currency exchange in the airport, it opens at 5A.M. I was affraid I was late for check in if I moved to the terminal 4 after money change. I had to withdraw some money from the ATM in the terminal 1. Terrible rate : AUD1= over JPY100 |

| To Exmouth |
The nearest airport of Exmouth is the Learmonth Airpor. There is the airport shuttle bus servive for AUD40 one-way AUD75 round trip. We hardly see a traffic light just some traffic circles. Most hotel in Exmouth are expensive, I booked the Pot Shot Hotel, backpacker double, which has private bathroom for AUD85. |

| I often saw two kind of birds, looks like almost pigeon with spiky head and looks like pigeon in his boky but like parrot in his head. |

| Navy Pier | The diving fees are same one dive and two dives a day. AUD220 with own equipment, in addition AUD50 entrance fee the day. Prohibited to take photos on land, allowed on the surface and under water. |

| Ningaloo Reef | Though just one day diving,, many sandy places on the bottom. I was asked to prepare for second dive after 25min. from first dive. Only 40 min.'s suface interval, they said it is no problem as shallow sea. |

| In Perth | For two days and departing day, the flight was next day so 3 days in total. 1st day in Rottnest Island, 2nd day in Penguin Island and 3rd day in Fremantle and center of Perth. |

| Rottnest Island |
There are two operators, I chose the Rottnest Express. I booked ferry ticket with rental bicycle departing 9:30A.M. at B Shed in Fremantle. I left the hotel around 8A.M. and caught a train boud for Fremantel in the Perth Station. 30min. took me the Fremantle Station, then 10min. to the B Shed on foot. 30min. after departure, we arrived Rottnest Island. I explored around the island by bike: Porpoise Bay, Little Salmon Bay, Salmon Bay, Oliver Hill Guns, Green Island, Mary Cove, Shark Bay, Catherine Bay and around Thomson Bay. |

| Quokka | A quokka hid and ran away as soon as I found him out on the bike. Second time, I waited him to come over to me patiently, he came to me at last. I thought these are rare and precious photos: 1st and 2nd photos below. Nevertheless I was disappointed there were many friendly quokkas around the park near the pier : start from 3rd photos below. |

| Penguin Island |
I visited to the Penguin Island next day. Departed about 8A.M., one hours ride from the Perth Station to the Rockingham Station. Then I booked 10A.M. boat and got on a bus to the last stop. The boat took us the island about 10 min. We can walk around the island within one hour. I didn't know whether I took the dolphin and sea lion excursion boat or not. Then I didn't take the boat, I came back 12:10 boat. After that, I came back to Perth, then walked around the Elizabeth Quay and city center. |

| Last Day |
I checked out the hotel and didn't hurry, as the schedule was moved up. After checking out, walking arount Perth center, exploring around in Fremantle in the afternoon. I headed to the airport and killed the time, as I guessed rather unsafe at night. |

| In the end | It was hard for me to understand English, because local people spoke so
fast. I guessed there are few forien people or people who spoke as not native speaker. |

| Back home |
Departing Perth at midnight, arrival in Kuala Lunpur at early morning. I took a cupsule hotel in KLIA2 as day use, since over 12 hours in the Kuala Lumpur Airport. Came back to the terminal 1, after taking a nap and shower. Returned to the Kansai Airport next morning. |
