Sep. 2013 Reethi Beach Resort, Maldives 　　

Summary

I have never been in Maldives during the rainy season, because I emphasized the sunshine and clear sea.
I have been four times in Maldives during the dry seaon, so for the first time during rainy season.
I decided to go the Baa Atoll since it has the famous Manta Ray sites.
I chose the Reethi Beach Resort, because I thought it was cheaper than others.
It was difficult to reserve resorts directly, so I selected to reserve a package tour by travel agencies.

I departed from the Kansai Airport at midnight, and transited in Singapore at early morning.
Moved to the boarding place of the seaplanes,
it was second time to get the seaplane same as last time in the Medhufushi.
They measured weight of my luggage and belongings, then strictly demanded the extra charge of weight.

The seats were not designated in the seaplane.
So I lined up the front row.
Then I took a window seat which I didn't see anything: floats and propellers.
The seaplanes stoped some resorts.
These were not the same, it depended on the passengers.

Reethi Beach

We were able to go two dives in the morning and one dive in the afternoon.
We are able to go just one dive each of the mornig and the afternoon at others resorts.
Though it was not so much rain, but it wasn't much sunshine due to rainly seasonl.
So there were not that much time to take photos under the sunshine.

Diving

I found Manta snorkeling was held on third day on the board.
I prefered Manta snorkeling to diving on third day afternoon.
But I was disappointed that we needed to wear a life jacket and saw several mantas from the surface.
I have recognized that many people around me dived with enriched air these days.
I tried to get the certification of enriched air diver, it just needed to take two dive computers of air and enriched air.
Then easy exam and it costed about $200, in addition there's Japanese Instructor.
