| Summary | I have wanted to go in French Polynesia. I were able to take a week off. I booked the package tour which included both international and domestic flithts and B&B I directly reserved diving by email. |

| Rangiroa | I felt Polynesian atmosphere when I got on the airplane, which directly fly from Narita to Papeete by the Air Tahiti Nui. I arrived the Papeete Airport in the early morning, waiting for the departure time of the domestic flght. The domestic flght flew to the the Rangiroa Airport by way of the Tikehau Island |

| B&B | The center island of the Rangiroa Atoll is the Avatoru Island. There is some hotel in the Avatol Island, but all hotels are very expensive. So I chose B&B: Pension Glorine. It located near the pier. Though no airconditioner, not too hot since it was built of wood. Solar heat shower. Airport shuttle servive. Rental Bicycle. The owner of the B&B kindly gathered participants of the Blue Lagoon Tour. With two meals: Breakfast and Dinner. Baguette, fruits,yogurt and tea or coffee normally in breakfast. They thought up a menu with consideration. For example, the dinner on my arrival day was sushi with gari , and pasta was served on the day of Italian. There were the restaurant I always have lunch and the dive center near by. |

| Avatoru Island |
Diving was held once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Other than that, I have walked around the island and took photos. The boats have come and gone to next island: Tiputa Island on the pier. There were many children who go to shool near the pier. Since lunch was not included, I always have had lunch at the restaurant near the pier. Though the restaurant was built on the sea, reasonal price. Hamburger was mainly served for lunch at the restaurant. I love the poisson cru, so I have eaten several times. This is chunks of cut raw tuna seasoned coconutmilk with Lemon and Lime. This dish was served with some Baguette. Then I was not able to eat all, I also fed fish with them. |

| Diving | I have applied diving to the dive center beforehand. There are two dive site: Tiputa and Avatoru. The dive center had two bases. When we dived at Tiputa, they started to pick up from northern base then departed at southern base. When we dived at Avatoru, they started to pick up from southern base then departed at nouthern base. We got on the boat that was able to take about 10 person known as the Zodiac. It took around ten minites from the shore to the dive sites. Though entry into the sea was so easy to slip on the rim of the boat, exit out of the sea was so hard. We passed the weight and BCD to a boat crew, then kicked the serface by the fins and climb the rim by arms |

| Only one dive on arrival day since I reached around noon. Usualy one dive in the morning and one dive in the afternoon, but I was talked to go third dive twice. |

| Almost of all guests hardly dived more than one day. One day, I was told to get on the boat while other guests was explained by staff. When others got on the boat, a diving guide told me to go to seach sharks around 45 meters depth. I have never been over 38 meters depth, I recognized the dive computer sounds warnig. Afte all, we were not able to see shark. |

| Tiputa | I have dived at Tiputa ten times. I was able to see dolphins about five
times. And they played with us three times. I was able to see Manta Rays twice. They didn't go around sircle, but passed by with us while they moved from inside to outside in the Atoll. I saw the school of Barracuda sometimes. I recognize over 30 meters depth several times, as the light sea and good visibilty. Usually, we have dived around Tiputa, but went to the channel once. The current was gradually getting stronger, we finished diving by the light house island in the end. |

| Avatoru | We always were able to see big school of Bigeye Trevelly there. They baited sharks with fish smell inside of plastic bag. I saw a hammerhead shark onec, but it ran away quickly. |

| I lost my under water degital camera in the sea one year ago. I have looked for new one, there was few small size under water proof. Since I had the Nikonos-V with the strobe and bracket, another camera shoud be small size. Because I took twe of the degital and film camera. |

| Blue Lagoon | I took diving every day, other than that, I went around the island and
took photos. Though I wanted to go to the Blue Lagoon, the tour needed some participant. So I asked Glorine to gather some participant. Then three days later, the tour was held. I told the diving center to cancel the diving as the Blue Lagoon tour. |

| About one hour ride on boat took us the Blue Lagoon. The boat got to the outside island in the lagoon. We walkde shallows in the lagoon, some rays at my feet. I saw many Lemon Sharks, but the photos were not good due to bad visibility. I saw many blacktip sharks and sea gulls in the island where we had lunch. It might be there were many leftovers. |

| To Papeete | I checked out in the morning, they took me the airport by car. Not stoped by the Tikehau island, but direct flight to Papeete on the way back. |

| Last day in Papeete |
I arrived in the Papeete Airport around noon. The flight to home was midnight, so I left my luggage to the hotel. I went to the Moorea Island by ferry, and came back soon. I wandered the Papeete city in the late afternoon. Comming back to the hotel, then picked up my luggage and checked out. And then heading to the airport. |
