| Summary | I have travelled Bali island about every two years. So this period was
the turn. When I was planning to go Bali, there were eruptions of Mt. Agung. I changeed destination from Bali to Lombok and Gili Trawangan in last year. Then volcanic eruptions were almost settle down. I decided to go Bali island for the first time in two yeres. I always stayed in Sanur and go diving in around Nusa Penida in Bali island. I choosed to stay in Chandidasa in this time and go diving around there where I have never visited. After that heading for in denpaser to watch the Bali Art Festival. |

| Flight | I have always selected Singapore Airlines when I have travelled in Indonesia,
sometimes Silk Air. I found an affordable price by Malaysia Airlines. So I transfered in Kuala Lumpur to got in Bali island. |

| Itinerary | AS arrival in Denpaser airport was midnight, stayed one night at a hotel
in Kuta. Moved for Chandidasa by bus next day. Stay 4 nights, 3 days diving in Chandidasa. After that stay 2 nights in Denpaser to see Bali Art Festival. Last day, check out at hotel in noon, heading for Denpaser airport. Tansit in Kuala Lumpur, come back to Kansai Airport next day. |

I was asked some question. And she spoke Japanese fluently. I was looking for a taxi meter in outdoor, ignnoring touts inside. I found a signboard of taxi meter, but flat fee for destination actually. (Kuta IDR150K) |

I had booked a Perama bus boud for Chandidasa. (IDR75K) I asked where I could get a bus at front desk of the hotel. She kindly called the Perama, and drew a map on paper. About 10-minite walk took me the bus station. I took lunch at the restaurant upstirs of Perana office, as the bus depart PM 1:30. There were many antique exhibits at the third floor. 50th Anversary of PERAMA , many posters were sticked on the wall. |

| To Chandidasa | The bus departed on scheduled time (13:30). The bus arrived in Sanur about
30 minites later. Then one person got on there. Next one hour took the bus Ubud. Almost of half person got off in Ubud, a few people got on there.. We reached in Padangbai two hours later. But the place we got was Perama office, it was far from city center of Padangbai. All pesengers got off there,Mother with child and I who went to Chandedasa changed cars. I walkde ten minites to the hotel from Perama terminal in Chandidasa. |

| Padangbai | I moved to Padangbai by a car on the first day of diving. The town of Padanbai was smaller than Chandidasa. But there were so many people there, as many ferries and boats came and went. |

| 1st day, in Padanbai mainly small things, sometimes water temprature came
down ２０℃ went throug there felt like hot spring. 2nd day strong current, so water was clear and corals were beautiful one shark appeared. 3ir day shore dive, for the first time in a few handred tanks ( over ten years) It was hard to put fins on in waves. All three days no guest except me, I could take phots of small things. |

| Festival | I finished diving about PM 2 on first day. There were many traditional dressed local people who put offerings on thir head. They were heading for the temple. The temple is concted in foot one and higher place. Many people climbed to higher temple by stairways. We needed to put clothes on our lower body, and we could borrow them for free. |

| Legong Dance | I came down to lower tempke from uper temple. The man there told me the Legong Dance Show would start at 7. So I retrunde the hotel, and came back the temple at 7 |

| I watched the dance in the right side of stage. I did not know how the Legong dance do, dancers always faced her right side. It means she faced left side of the stage. I can hardly look their faces except turning or moving. |

| Way back from Tulamben | After diving in Tulamben, We could see Mt. Agung and terraced paddy field on the way to Chandidasa. And driver let us to take phots. |

| Chandidasa ～ Sanur |
I moved to Denpaser to see the Bali Art Festival. I guessed the Perama bues bound for the airport or Kuta went by way of Denpaser However the buses don't stop Denpaser, but stop Sanur or Kuta. Considering a map, Denpaser is closer than Kuta to Denpaser. In additon to that, the bus stop in Sanur located north part of Sanur. I selected to reserve the ticket to Sanur. On the way back from Chandidasa, same as on the way to Chandidasa, We got on a small car and change to a big bus in Padangbai, and many people got off and got on in Ubud. |

After getting off a bus in Sanur, I looking for the Blue Bird Taxi. Since the taxis definitely turn on the meter, I ignored other annoying taxi drivers. Finally I found out, and reached the hotel in about 30 minites. It was farther than from airport to Kuta, fee was one third of that (INR50K) |

| Denpaser | I checked in the hotel past noon, I could left my luggage in the room. On the way to the Art Center, when I went inside of the Pura Jagatnata I was asked an exorbitant price for borrowing clothe in Japanes. So I did not went inside of the temple, just took photos by outside. After that I walkde to East direction about one hour. I gussed the Art Center seemed to be located North direction. Then I turned left, it exactly what I expected. Before entering, I had lunch at a Warung near by, Nasi Campur. I could choose side dishs pointing my finger, and it costed very cheap for IDR11K. |

At first, I went to the ticket booth. They said one adult for INR50K, I thought there were some kind of through tickets. They did not spoke English, I had no choice but to buy the ticket. There were a few people in the Center, I wondered since the day was Sunday. Coming next day again. I hardly found a shop which sell alcohol. Just one shop sell beer. |

| Misunderstanding | I checked why there was no performance on today in the Art Center. I serched the official website when I planed the itinerary. I recheked the schedule again. It seemed I misunderstood **th day on the program for ** in July Actually the Art Festival already had ended few days before. It was my fault. I found out that there was no throuth ticket and they din not speak Engligh as few forgrien visitors. |

| Change Schedule |
I gave up to see the Art Festival, then thought about where I went tomorrow. First of all, I saw a big statue from bus window when I moved from Kuta to Ubud . I checked it by Google Earth, I found out it is the Patung Titi Banda. And the Big Garden Corner was near by, next Bajra Sandhi Monument. I went to the Patung Titi Banda by taxi, after that the Big Garden Corner by walk. I had them to call a taxi for me in there. However the distance between the Big Garden Corner and Bajra Sandhi is 2Km as the crow flies, roads are winding and many dead ends. I thought I must get lost. After that, I was looking for alcohol. while wandering town way back to the hotel. |

| In Denpaser | I saw many festival decorations were sold and cars carried long decorations
on the way back to the hotel. I had been looking for alcohol in the town again. There was no alcohol in department stores at the center of town. I finally found it out in the big supermarket Tiara Dewata. The mothod to sell was very rare. The goods were inside of locked shelves. When I asked a store clerk to take that, she did not give me the good but gave me a receipt and she took it somewhere. I asked when she came back, she told me the good was given to me in a register swapping the receipt. |

| To Airport | As the departure of the airplane was evening, I was going aroud the hotel. I checked out at noon, and have lunch and came back to the hotel. Then I got on a blue bird taxi to the airport.(IDR105K) Almost of all taxis do not give us change, but the blue bird taxi gave us change same as Japan. |

in the Page of airclaft) Arrival of Kuala Lumpur was delayed a little, but I had time it did not matter. |
