| Summary | New year holidays, I was able to book just for Philippines last year. Fortunately, It seemed I could reserve a tour for Palau in the year. So I decided to book immediately. package tour with diving. Southern Marine as a dive center, Marina Hote as accommodation. |

| Itinerary | Departure at the Narita Airport by the Continental Micronesia via Guam. 12 dives for four days. Day trip for the long beach on last day since departure was midnight. Checked out at night and went the airport, then transited in Guam and back to the Narita Airpot about noon. |

| Transfer in Guam |
Quite long layover in the Guam airport at evening. One hour ahead of Japan in Guam, one hour behind in Palau, so same as Japan. |

| Marina Hotel |
The hotel is kind of far from the city center: about 15min on foot. The hotel was run by Japanese at that time. I found the hotel was managed another and changed luxury when I checked hotels next visit to Palau in three years later. There was a restaurant facing the ocean, dive center picked me up on floating pier outside of it. |

| Palau Pacific Resort | One day, I went to the Palau Pacific Resort by shuttle bus. Though we are picked up at most hotels by car, the P.P.R. and the Marina hotel by boat at piers. |

| Coincidence | I bumped into a woman who guided me in biyadhoo, Maldives about one year
before on the boat of first day. Though she was a diving instructor, she came there on holiday. What a coincidence. She picked my camera that I droped in underwater by my fault. |

| Final day | I took part in popular tour on last day: milky way, long beach etc. Because the flight was mid night, I was not able to dive that day. |

| Back home | I ran across a family who dived with me in the Koror Airport. Then they told me they have dived in the mornig on the day. Their policy was 12 hours between last dive and boarding, kind of dangerous. I think the interval needs 17 hours at least, sometimes finished dive 3pm and boarding 8am next day. I know that prohibited boarding icon on dive computer dosen't disapear until evenig if we have dived over three days in a row. |
