| Canceled to go the Tarama Island. | I have planed to visit the Tarama Island in early July this spring. Though I have already booked, flights accommodation and diving, the state of emergency for Okinawa prefedture was declared in late June. The dive center told me it has been closed during the duration, because the medecal facility of the island is not enough. So I needed to chancel this travel. However I planed to change the period in late August, the state might come again after the Olympic game. So I gave up this travel. |

| Substitution | I tried to make a substitutional plan. At first, I selected the period while the Olympic game was held and after four day holiday. :From the last week of July to the beginning of August. I guessed the state of emergency was not declared during Olympic game duration. Destinations were the Izena Island next to the Iheya Island I visited last year and Ie Island. Booking flight tickets, accommodation and diving. Actually, the state was extended, though the Olympic game was held. I am going to the gym almost every day. No infection as thorough perfect measures. Measuresing against infrection, safe and secure. Moreover, I got vaccinated twice. If I caneceled the travel, I caused trouble others. |

| Itinerary | Morning flight boud for Naha and the Yanbaru EX. bus boud for the Unten
Port same as last year. Getting on the ferry boud for the Izena Island. All day diving on next day. Then moving to the Unten Port by ferry, to the Motobu Port by bus and to the Ie Island by ferry. Two days diving in the Ie Island, back to the Motobu Port and the Naha City by bus. One night in Naha, heading to the Naha Airport and came back to the Kansai Airport by morning flight. |

| To the Izena Island | The Yanbaru Express Bus departed at 11:30 I got on last year was abolished. I took early luch and got on a bus departed at 12:30. The bus I got on last year was empty, but crowded this year. A rest at the service area was just 5minites. There are just 14 minites between arrival time at the port by bus and departure time of the ferry. I was worry if the bus didn't reach the port on time. But the bus reached the port just in time. It took only five minutes to buy a ferry ticket and to got on the ferry. |

| In the Isand | I was picked up at the port by the diving center staff. Then time for paperword at the diving center, after that one minite walk to the inn. The inn has Japanese-style room with bathroom. I was suprised there was no key, though able to lock from inside. What a peaceful and gentl island. It was around five, but the sun was still bright. So I took my camera and tried to be wondering around neighborhood. |

| Canceled | I checked the ferry timetable when I got to the Motobu Port before noon. I found the ferry I was going to get was chanceled due to the state of emergency. In addition, the ferry I was selecting to get back was also canceled due to the same. I have planed to go around the island in the afternoon of arrival day and in the morning of departure day. But the cancelation prevented me to do both two half a day. I needed to kill some time around the port also on the day.。 |

| In the Island | I was not able to go around the island in the afternoon of the arrival
day and in the morning of the departure day, due to reduced schedule. I happened to forget to put in batterys into the strobe, so I canceled third diving and went around the island by bicycle in the afternoon. The island looked flat from the ferry, but there were many steepy hills actually. Visited Nyatiya Cave, Wajie and Shiroyama. |

| Almost summit | There were quite steepy concrete stairs, 10 minites climbing without break. When the summit appeared right in front of me, over ten kind of hornets attacked above my head. It was very dangerous if I was stung as there was no one around there. So I turned back to the foot quickly. |

| Way back | Returning to the Motobu Port at 10, and to Naha by the Yanbaru Express
Bus. Then one night in Naha, because late afternoon flight is expensive. It is cheaper than that considering cost of one night. |

| Quiet | When it comes to diving, there were only two person in the Izena Island, no one else but me on first day and two on second day in the Ie Island. Also few people in tourist spots. If the typhoon had not come on 4 day holiday last week, it seemed to be crowded in Okinawa. It 's none of my business, I felt bad for that. |
