Jun.2022 Hokkaido:Eastern side

Summary However I have been many time in Hokkaido, last time in Shakotan, Otaru and several time in Biei,
which located in the center of Hokkaido. I planned to visit Eastern Hokkaido for the first time.
Itinerary On the way to Hokkaido, toward to Shiretoko via Abashiri from the Memanbetu Airport.
Then heading to the Notsuke Peninsula, next famous sight around Kushiro by sightseeing bus.
Incident I have booked the plane ticket and the hotel, considering a excursion boat in Siretoko and bus transfer in March.
When I moved to the Iriomote Island in late April, the accident of sinking the boat was happened.
All excursion boats was voluntarily closed, sightseeinb bus from Utoro to Kushiro was also suspeded.
1st day Kansai Airport ~ Memanbetu Airport ~ Abashiri bus terminal ~ Notori Lake, Sangoso
~ JR Abashiri staion ~ Shiretoko-Shari stion. One night in Shari.
Though I knew the Samphire was out of season, kind of disappointed .The JR train I was going to ride was canceled.
Next train which had just one car was crowded with high school students.Rather late arrival in Shari than expected.

6th day Last day of the travel, I had to retrun to the bus stop near the Kushiro staion around noon as the flight depart at 2PM.
However the Hosooka Observatory is most well know in the Kushiro Marsh, there is few means of transport.
So if I went to the Hosooka Observatory, I must miss my flight.
Therefore I went to the Kushiro-shi Observatory by local bus.
I encountered parent and children of raccoon dog by the esplanade of the marsh.

After the travel For the first time in Eastern Hokkaido, I knew the temperature there is rather lower than others.
Many foggy and cloudy days keep me from taking beautiful pictures.
I was surprised the sunrise there was around half past three,
because almost summer solstice, high latitude and eastest part of Japan.
